Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Class
The Campus Alcohol and Drug Education Canter is excited to offer all students the opportunity to participate in the series, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). The MBSR program, backed by three decades of research, will help you reduce stress and enhance resilience, even in the face of serious life difficulties. Common reasons people take this course include: Daily Life Stress, substance abuse, ADD/ADHD, Anxiety/Depression, Chronic Pain, Fatigue, Headaches, Job, School or Family Pressure, Personal Growth/Development, Serious Illness and Sleep problems.
Introductory Course: Thursday, February 21 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Class Continues: Thursdays from 5:00 – 7:00 PM for seven (7) weeks
February 28 – April 25
No Class during Spring Break
There will be one Saturday function - TBA
Location: Student Services Center, Room 306
Course Fee: $20 will be collected at Intro. Class if you decide to complete the course.
$10 REFUND to those who successfully complete the course upon graduation!!
