JSU/Chico Hillel: Birthright and Peace Through Sports

This week's JSU/Chico Hillel meeting will share peace and love for Valentine's Day with a presentation on relationships between various races through sports. Levav who lives in Metula, Israel and is a nephew of two retired Chico State professors will speak about his experiences forming an Ice Hockey School with hundreds of kids at the northern border of Israel playing in mixed teams. We will begin as usual and we will be serving Celestino's pizza. We will then walk over to Ayres hall at 6:30 p.m. to watch his video.

Also, for anyone Jewish, age 18-26, and who've never traveled to Israel, the Birthright program may be able to send you to Israel for free! Registration for Birthright opens this Wednesday 2/13. If you're interested, more information can be found on their site Birthright-Israel.

We are located in Celestino's square at 101 Salem St. Ste. 160, Chico, CA 95928
