Interested in performing spoken word? Want to learn how to write your own piece? Come and get inspired and learn the basics of how to write and perform your own spoken word piece with Shane Romero, an artist out of Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. Shane’s poetry is a reflection of his personal life and what he sees on a daily basis. In his writings, he takes a direct shot, addressing issues of the inner city: race, violene, the uphill battle of love and his efforts of bettering himself.
