Anthropology Research Competition, FINAL CALL FOR ABSTRACTS!!

The Anthropology Graduate Student Association (AGSA) is hosting an Anthropology Research Competition on Friday, March 29, 2013, 3-6pm in the BMU. CSU Chico graduate and undergraduate students from all fields are encouraged to submit a presentation or poster abstract on research or a project that is anthropological in nature. This can include topics ranging from archaeology, physical anthropology, cultural anthropology, cultural geography, ethnobotany, linguistics, visual anthropology, museum studies, zooarchaeology, forensic science, and much more.

Top Graduate Presentation = $200
Top Undergraduate Presentation = $200
Best Poster = $50
Each presentation should be ten minutes long with five minutes of Q&A. Presentations will be judged by a panel of anthropology alumni. Posters will be judged through peer review.

Abstracts should be between 150-200 words and submitted by 5:00pm on Friday, March 8th. Abstracts can be submitted to: Please state abstract and your last name in the subject line (i.e., abstract_smith).
