National Eating Disorders Awareness Week-Feb. 23-March 1
National Eating Disorders Awareness Week is February 23-March 1. In the U.S., it is estimated that 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from an eating disorder at some time in their life. These include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. More information can be found at: http://nedawareness.org/
The Embodied student club and campus partners are currently planning Love Every Body Week (LEBW) for April 7-11, 2014. LEBW aims to increase awareness about eating disorders, to identify resources for those suffering as well as their loved ones, and to promote size acceptance.
