Chico Wood Smoke Awareness Survey: 2014
The primary aim of the Chico Wood Smoke Survey is to evaluate community-wide awareness about wood smoke advisories to reduce winter wood smoke pollution in Chico in order to provide a healthier environment for residents. The Butte County Air Quality Management District (BCAQMD) is interested in hearing the views of both wood heater users and non-users. Responses from a broad range of residents will help us develop initiatives that are both effective and consistent with the needs and values of the community.
BCAQMD is encouraging community groups, students, faculty, local businesses and employers to help us get the word out about this important survey so we can help improve air quality.

This project has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of the California State University, Chico and is being conducted as a partnership between the BCAQMD and CSU, Chico Department of Health and Community Services.
