CJSA: Graduation Cords and Guest Speakers 4/4 and 4/9
Friday, April 4th at 2:00pm in Butte 103 Chico State Alumni, Supervising Agent Richard Seghieri with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control has agreed to come speak about what it’s like entering the criminal justice field and how he got into the Department of ABC!
Wednesday, April 9th at 7:00pm in Butte 102 we have a presentation regarding the effects of AB109 and opportunities for students to get involved (internships, research, and job opportunities). Sarah Messer, Dave Malinoski, and Heidi Polonus from Sentinel Offender Services will be speaking about offender rehabilitation programs. Dr. Patten, Dr. Caudill, and Emily La Rue will also be presenting on the research they have been conducting on the effects of AB109 in Butte County. They will be mentioning some great opportunities for students to get involved and get some experience! Again, this presentation will be extremely beneficial for students!
Graduation cords will be the same color as the Criminal Justice tassels and are $17. You must have attended at least three events this academic year to receive a cord.
