Music Industry Students Lobby With Stars in Washington April 2-3, Will Cohost Downtown Music and Arts Faire April 17

California State University, Chico music industry students had a unique opportunity last week to participate in an awards ceremony and lobbying effort in Washington, D.C., involving big names in the recording industry.

Students James Gibbs, Noah Ben-Eishai and Corrie Clark helped organize the annual Grammys on the Hill Awards held April 2 at The Hamilton, a major live music venue in Washington, D.C. The following day, they visited U.S. House of Representatives’ offices with artists and members of the Recording Academy advocacy group.
