Center on Aging Presents - Careers in Aging Professional Panel and Fair on April 17

The CSU, Chico Interdisciplinary Center on Aging presents the Careers in Aging Event on April 17 from 9:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.

This is a great opportunity for those who attend to interact with representatives from organizations serving older adults in Butte County.  The Careers in Aging Professional Panel Discussion will take place from 9:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. A panel of guests will be speaking at the event and there are opportunities for jobs, volunteering and internships. Panelists are: Assistant Dean of College of Engineering, Computer Science and Construction Management –  Jerry Hight; Owner of Country Village Care (Assisted Living Facility) – Lyn Dorenzo; Director of Passages (Area Agency on Aging) - Joe Cobery; Communication Department – Shelley Von Berg; Nutrition Department –  Maria Giovanni; Recreation Department – Michael Leitner 

Following the panel there will be a Careers in Aging Fair from 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. We have more than 15 organizations coming and will present students with opportunities to volunteer/intern or find employment!

This is a FREE event and everyone is encouraged to attend. Come in and join us at Sylvester’s 100.
