The Multicultural Affairs Council invites you to the Indigenous Earth Relations Alliance Conference, Friday April 25th

The Indigenous Earth Relations Alliance Conference will present information and expertise vital to regional sustainability. This event will focus on concerns of local and regional tribal people regarding our relationships with the earth, and how the campus community can most effectively work in solidarity with indigenous peoples to address important contemporary issues of land management.

This conference is mostly funded by a grant from the Sustainability Fund Allocation Committee, with support from AS Multicultural Affairs and outside organizations. It is a grass roots effort that is driven by both a desire and need to hear from indigenous communities on issues of land management and sustainability on the occupied lands of what is now known as Chico State University.

The event will take place Friday April 25th in BMU 210 from 9am to 5pm.

Keynote @ 9am: Chief Caleen Sisk of the Winnemem Wintu Tribe
Panel Discussions @ 10am & 3pm
Indigenous Art Exhibit and Film Screening @ 1:00pm: Dancing Salmon Home
