Child Care available on Campus

Did you know there is subsidized child care available right here on campus?

The AS Child Development Lab is a licensed Childcare facility.  This State Funded Preschool Program is available to income-eligible families at little or no cost and is a fun, play-based program open Monday-Friday. 

What is Subsidized Child Care?
Subsidized child care is assistance to income eligible families to cover child care costs. Among the list of income eligible families are children from Child Protective Services, children with special needs, and at-risk families referred by social professionals.

Who is eligible for subsidized services?
Parents must have child(ren) ages 8 weeks – 5 and meet income guidelines as well as at least one of the following needs:

  • Working or actively seeking employment
  • Attending school or a job-related program
  • Medically incapacitated
  • Receiving Child Protective Services
