Business Concept Competition Thursday, November 14
On Thursday, November 14, the Chico State Center for Entrepreneurship will be holding its bi-annual Business Concept Competition. There are 20 finalists competing for a possible $1000 in prize money. The finalists, all undergraduates, come from three colleges and bring a stunning array of ideas to the contest.
Ideas include phone apps, web sites, concept restaurants, dorm room partitions and even a new way to shop online. The finals will be presided over by seven eminently qualified judges including Daren Otten, Professor from the College of Engineering; Marc Nemanic, the Executive Director of 3Core; Kevin Kinell of ChicoStart; and other industry experts from the surrounding area.
The competition starts at 7 PM and will be held in Holt 268. All are welcome to attend.
