The St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center is a Catholic community specifically for college students at Chico State and Butte College, conveniently located on 3rd and Cherry (1 block from the WREC).

This month's topic is sex! Sort of. We willl be welcoming Nick Pearce, Youth Minister at Divine Savior parish in Orangevale, to come discuss Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body. For those of you who were around last semester, you may remember him from a college night talk that he joined us for and how AWESOME he is. This time around, Nick will be focusing on the Language of the Body, which, probably means something entirely different than you're imagining it right now. Or maybe not. But you'll have to come to find out!
We are also thrilled to be welcoming Ivan Mora as our introductory speaker: also addressing Theology of the Body.
Mother's Day Brunch
if you want to show your mom a great time for Mother's Day, buy her a ticket to the Mother's Day Brunch. It will be Sunday May 12th from 8am to 1 pm. Buy your mom a ticket and come by anytime during those hours for an amazing brunch. We also need volunteers to help out as well, so if you can't be with your Mom on Mother's day you can still make a Moms Day by volunteering. Tickets are available after Mass at the Newman Center as well as during regular office hours. Tickets can also be purchased at Christian and Johnson and Zucchini and Vine.
