True Dialogue: Racism, Sexism and Homophobia within communities of color Oct. 15

Real Conversations are often times difficult to have because of the possibility of being offensive to others. The challenge is how do you talk about real issues without saying how you truly feel? The Cross-Cultural Leadership Center wants to provide an opportunity to truly have True Dialogue about real experiences of students of color in this society. The Cross-Cultural Leadership Center focuses on. Part of the CCLC mission: keeping students respected, connected, and affirmed, is to provide an opportunity for students to come together in a space free of judgment to have honest conversation about experiences that are unique to our students of color.

Join us October 15 from 5:30-7pm in the Cross-Cultural Leadership Center, MeriamLibrary 172 (Across from the Bell Memorial Union Marketplace).  This event is open to all students, faculty and staff and aims to provide a safe place to explore diversity through sharing personal perspectives and experiences.
