Diversion Excursion is an AWESOME move out program in the Residence Halls that diverts thousands of pounds of reusable materials away from the local landfill. The annual Diversion Excursion will be held on Thursday May 18th, Friday May 19th, and Saturday May 20th of Finals week from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Reasons to participate in DE:

1. To educate residents about the differences between reusable goods and waste.

2. We donate goods back into the community; all donations are collected and sent to the local Goodwill and the Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry.

3. Student participants get to help a great cause.

4. It aligns with our campus value of sustainability.

5. For volunteering your time you get a FREE KLEAN KANTEEN!

The program recruits up to 200 volunteers and we need your help! Volunteers will sort through reusable items and provide the needed assistance to divert approximately 25,000 pounds of materials from the landfill and have TONS of fun while doing it.
