Are you tired of judging yourself and others for not measuring up to the “ideal” body weight, size, or type?

Want to expand your leadership skills and positively impact others in the Chico community?

 

Embodied: Living the Health At Every Size Way student organization will meet on Monday, September 8, 2014, 6:00-7:00 pm, in BMU 210. 

The Health At Every Size® paradigm is based on the premise that the best way to improve health is to honor your body. HAES® encourages:
-Accepting & respecting the natural diversity of body sizes & shapes;
-Eating in a flexible manner that values pleasure & honors internal cues of -Finding the joy in moving one’s body & becoming more physically vital.

Come join Embodied as we start our second year on campus! Last year you may have participated in our events such as Love Every Body Week or other tabling and social events. We invite new and returning students (undergrad and graduate) from all disciplines on campus to come to our first meeting and see all the exciting things we have planned for this semester. 

We also have opportunities for leadership with two available officer positions: Outreach Coordinator and Marketing/PR Director. So if you are looking for a way to get involved this semester -please come and check out Embodied and what we have to offer and run for a position!
