Come learn how to love your body! Embodied Monday 6pm

Embodied: Living the Health At Every Size Way student organization will meet on Monday, October 20, 2014, 6:00-7:00 pm, in Langdon 106.

The Health At Every Size® paradigm is based on the premise that the best way to improve health is to honor your body. HAES® encourages:
-Accepting & respecting the natural diversity of body sizes & shapes;
-Eating in a flexible manner that values pleasure & honors internal cues of

-Finding the joy in moving one’s body & becoming more physically vital.

Join Embodied as we continue our second year on campus! Stephanie Chervinko from the Counseling Center on campus will be speaking on the psychology about food and body image. She will also share her experiences involving eating disorders and weight stigma. After, she will lead activities for us to participate in. Then we will decide on quotes for t-shirts and sweatshirts. There will be snacks to aide in the fun! We invite new and returning students (undergrad and graduate) from all disciplines on campus.

Please email our President, Crystal Vasquez at cvasquez7@mail.csuchico.edu with any questions.
