David Buckley grew up in the San Francisco bay area (Palo Alto and San Carlos).  He graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Film as Communication. He has an MA from the University of Montana in Higher Education Administration.  He has 33 years of experience in higher education.  His work in higher education includes Clackamas Community College (Oregon), University of Montana and CSU, Chico.  David has worked at CSU, Chico for 26 years. He’s been the Executive Director of the Associated Students for 14 years and currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Student Life and Leadership and Executive Director for the Associated Students.  He’s been married  for 26 years to his lovely wife Kate Buckley who works as a career counselor in the Career Center at CSU, Chico.
