Internship Opportunity for Activists: Gender and Sexuality Equity Center

Are you passionate about activism and social justice issues? Are you interested in an internship that reflects that passion? If so, you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity: the AS Gender and Sexuality Equity Center (GSEC) is taking on new interns for the Fall 2015 semester.


We are looking for students who are passionate about social equity and motivated to work towards awareness and inclusion in our campus and community.

Three unit internships are available in one of our three programs: the Women’s Program, the LGBTQ+ Program, and the Outreach Program. All interns will aid in organizing events, contributing to campaigns, and positively impacting the Feminist and LGBTQ+ movements by utilizing their voices. Outreach interns will write press releases, manage the advertisement of events, and coordinate social media sites to educate our community on social justice issues.
