The Orion Wins Best in Show, Other Awards at Associated Collegiate Press Midwinter Convention

The convention was attended by hundreds of student journalists from across the country who submitted work from the past year in various competition categories. The Orion won first-place Best in Show for weekly newspapers at four-year universities, second place for multimedia package, and fourth place in best large-school website for its daily news site,theorion.com. The award winners were announced March 3 at the 29th annual convention, which took place at the Westin Market Street hotel.
