16th Annual Kruschke Piano Competition Takes Place April 5

Don't miss outstanding California high school, junior college and college pianists as they vie for the Earl and Marilyn Kruschke $2,000 Prize at the competition. 

The finals for the competition takes place Saturday, April 5 beginning at noon in Rowland-Taylor Recital Hall. The public is invited to watch the five finalists — Ashley Alexandru (Chico), Kaya Curtis (Carmichael), Jason Kim (San Diego), Brittany Masloski (Chico) and Phoebe Pan (Irvine) — perform two piano solos each; admission is free.

This year’s competition adjudicator will be internationally renowned recitalist and recording artist Natsuki Fukasawa.
