Rowland-Taylor Recital Hall (PAC 134)

Chico State students interested in participating in the 2013 Summer Arts Program put on by the California State University system are invited to attend a presentation by Joanne Sharp (Asst. Director of Summer Arts for the CSU) and three participating faculty members.
Hosted by CSU, Monterey Bay from July 1-28, Summer Arts 2013 will include master classes in visual art/design, writing, media, music, and theatre/dance. Students can earn 3-6 units of transferable undergraduate or graduate credit. More than 70% of students who attend the program receive scholarships. As part of their residencies with Summer Arts, most guest artists/instructors will present a public event, which can be a lecture or performance. In addition to the guest artist presentations, each workshop will stage a public culmination event featuring student work.
The presentation for the Summer Arts program will take place Thursday, February 7th beginning at 5 p.m. in Rowland-Taylor Recital Hall (PAC 134); a reception in PAC 132 will follow.
A schedule of courses that will be taught, as well as other information on Summer Arts 2013, is available online at csusummerarts.org.
