TEDxChico: come hear two Chico State professors share their stories, Nov. 2
Five years ago, Dr. Nandi Crosby, professor of Sociology and Multicultural Studies gave the most personal of gifts that changed how she views responsibility, compassion, and equity. She is an advocate around all forms of injustice.
A professor of History at CSU Chico, Dr. Kate Transchel provides trainings for various branches of the military as well as the state department on domestic and international human trafficking. She also serves as an expert witness on human trafficking from Moldova in Federal Asylum hearings.
Come hear the inspiring stories they will share at TEDxChico on November 2nd in the Sierra Nevada Big Room. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, the event gathers our area’s most interesting minds together to explore common interests, problems and innovative solutions. Other topics include: management without bosses, creating bio-diesel, neuromuscular re-education and many more. Lively entertainment is provided by Ma Muse and Wolf Thump and lunch is catered by Sierra Nevada. This is a great opportunity to network and be inspired.
