Summer Camp 2013

Smith Museum of Anthropology encourages creative activities to learn about other people, places and time periods throughout the world. Using hands-on activities, like drama, science, music, cooking, and art, children will travel the world, learning about people and cultures. For Children Ages 5-11.

Week 1 - July 8-11 Space Adventures - Investigate the solar system and beyond.                                                                                                    

Week 2 - July 15-18 Think Like Paleontologist - Explore the Mesozoic Era when dinosaurs ruled.

Week 3 - July 22-25 Cultures of the Americas - Learn about traditional lifeways from Hopi to Aztec to California Indians.

Week 4 -July 29 - August 1  "Best of" Camp - Each day a new topic, from Egypt to the rainforests.

 
Price Per Session: $75

Monday-Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
