Summer Camp 2016

Summer Camp at the Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology encourages creative activities to learn about other people, places and time periods throughout the world. Using hands-on activities, like drama, science, music, cooking, and art, children will travel the world, learning about people and cultures. For Children Ages 5-11.

Summer Camp Registration for Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology begins April 15th! 

Come in person or mail in your applications.  Brand new themes for a half day schedule. Designed for ages 5-11. 

Fun begins July 6th

Price Per Session: Monday -Thursdays Half Day (from 8:30 a.m. - 12: 30 p.m.). The price is $85 a week, except Week I which is $45.

Week I July 6th & 7th    CSI Chico $45 for both days

The ultimate mystery of who dunnit?  A quick-witted investigation.                                                                                                    

Week II July 11 – July 14  Star Wars

Travel to earthlins' fave intergalactic world.  Awaken your knowledge of our solar system plus Yoda Soda!

Week III July 18- July 21  Kung Fu Panda

Embrace Legendary Asian Arts.  Try martial arts moves, the secrets lives of Pandas, and more!

Week IV July 25-28   Medieval Madness

Expect a Festival of Fun!  Step back to a time when jesters juggled and dragons ruled the skies.
