TEACHING ASSOCIATES :
Qualifications: Graduate students enrolled in the CSU, Chico MA or MFA program.
Requirements: Successful completion of ARTS 689 Graduate Internship accompanied by an approval letter from the faculty of record.
TEMPORARY LECTURERS :
The Department of Art and Art History accepts applications to our part-time pool for all areas during the open application submission period only. Minimum qualifications vary.
Part-time Pool Process:

April 1-30 Only
The part-time pool is reviewed for qualified applicants in the spring for needed positions for the next academic year after the closure of the application submission period.
The department will accept applications for review beginning April 1st. The submission period will close April 30th. The applications are then reviewed for the next academic year. Any applications received after the close of the submission cycle may not be considered. In the event that there are no qualified applicants to fill positions, the pool may be reopened mid-cycle.
Application Materials Required:
Incomplete applications will not be considered for our part-time pool.
Further qualification documentation may be requested for specific course consideration.
All current and potential temporary lecturers must submit an annual *Letter of Interest (as stated above) to remain active in our part-time pool.
