Acid, Rocks and Rollers (Printmaking Club)

Writes grants to bring in visiting artists, exhibits and exchanges prints with other print clubs, takes a press out for public printing demonstrations, and holds print sales to fundraise for travel to conferences.

Art History Collective

The Art History Collective seeks to bring students from the California State University, Chico community together into an environment that allows students to engage with Art History outside of the classroom setting both on campus and in the larger local and global communities. We seek to promote discussion and engagement, and to supplement the Art History Department with professional development within the field of Art History.

Ceramics Club

The Ceramics Club brings CSUC students together with a shared interest in ceramic art.  Each year the club works to provide financial support for student travel to, and participation in ceramic conferences: the National Council on Education of Ceramic Arts and the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art . The club also organizes on-campus lectures and demonstrations presented by visiting artists which are usually free and open to the public.

Club Aesthete (Painting and Drawing Club)

Our objective is to build a strong sense of community among the painting and drawing students of Chico State; we also strive to advance our skills as artist--both aesthetically and professionally. As such, we will create events for the purpose of enhancing our skills.

DADA: Do Art Dream Art (Art Education Club)

Education is a dynamic, ever-changing field of study. This club gets art education news out to the students. Special attention is paid to clarifying information about teaching credentials, jobs and best practices in art education. We also have fund-raisers throughout the year, proceeds from which support our annual art exhibition and student travel to our statewide conference and museums.

Figuratively Seeking (Figure Drawing Club)

Runs figure drawing sessions on Wednesday evenings fo a donation of $5 a session to fund the models. The sessions include students and non students.

Sculpture Club

The Sculpture Club is an extension of the sculpture area in the Department of Art and Art History at California State University, Chico. We raise money for visiting artists, events and excursions for sculpture students. We also offer a support network for art students to gain new skills by cooperating with upper division students in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
