The geology of Bidwell Park reveals much of the volcanic history of the
area and the sediments that came before.
Pentz
The Pentz location, though capped with the same volcanic flows as Bidwell
Park, is underlain by different - and much older - rocks.
Table Mountain
Table Mountain shares some rock formations with Bidwell Park and others
with Pentz. It's unique combination of layers is the final piece that fits
all of the rocks in the proper geologic sequence.
