Males: You are required to do a toss to hands.
Females: You are required to do a toss to hands with a male. Or an all-girl extension with a full down dismount.
Cheer: You are to learn a cheer at clinics (times listed above). It may include one gymnastics skill. It will include some motions.
Gymnastics: You are required to do a back handspring. (Spotting will be provided upon coaches' judgment.)
Dance: We will teach you a dance (females only).
Jumps: Toe-touch is required.
Tryout attire: Females are expected to wear a sports bra and cheer shorts during the entire tryout process.
With the likelihood of potential candidates including a significant number of females (and a substantially lesser number of males), it should be noted that to be selected, a female must demonstrate sufficient skills in the required stunts and gymnastics, as shown on the tryout requirements (posted below). The coach will select only the top candidates who show the most significant experience and skills, and who will probably far exceed the requirements.
