- Jeff Mott is the Director of the BCCER. Jeff has a B.S in biology and a wealth of experience working with Butte County Air Quality and CSU, Chico Health and Safety Office.Jeff can usually be found in his office at 30 Main, where he deals with budgets, grant applications, and administrators. - Paul Maslin is the Field Director. Paul is Professor Emeritus from CSU, Chico, where he taught ecology-related courses for 30 years before retiring to work for the BCCER. Paul can seldom be found since he is usually somewhere on the 4000 acres of the reserve but may be contacted at pmaslin@csuchico.edu.
- Anthea Maslin has assisted in photo-documentation and web development for the reserve. Anthea has a B.A. from Wellesley College.
- John Rowden and Mark Lynch have worked at the reserve in many capacities: student assistant, intern, researcher. Both are currently engaged in master's research on the reserve. John coordinates our hunt program. He can be contacted at bccer@csuchico.edu. Mark has recently been named Education Coordinator for the reserve. He can be reached at bccereducation@csuchico.edu.
Our managers are advised by a Technical Advisory Committee composed of University Faculty involved in research or teaching on the reserve, a neighbor, and a representative of the California Deer Association. A Citizen's Advisory Committee meets annually to provide oversight of reserve activities and advice on funding. |
