Bird Banding Results For April 7, 2006

- Birds captured: 28 of 8 species
- 2 Anna's hummingbirds (ANHU-1 male/ 1 female, we do not band hummers but do take data.
- See attached-female ANHU, blackish feathers in gorget are iridescent feathers. The male was
- gorgeous too, but my focus was poor-a huge magenta blur!.)
- 1 Bushtit (BUSH)
- 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet (RCKI)
- 2 Lesser goldfinch (LEGO)
- 3 BEWR (Bewick's wren)
- 2 Song sparrow (SOSP, 1 male with CP)
- 1 Spotted towhee (SPTO)
- 16 Hermit thrush ( 3 recaps from same site)
