What does it take to respect other people regardless of their individual differences?

What would be the value of a Chico location committed to that process?

Building Bridges is in the planning stages of an exciting project to create a campus site that symbolizes our efforts -- the Bridge of Respect. The library mall bridge over Little Chico Creek (the wide bridge south of Plumas Hall) would be given the look of a suspension bridge, with signs identifying it as the CSU, Chico Bridge of Respect. Volunteers will raise funds for the bridge, write the plaques explaining the value of a bridge dedicated to respect, and help assemble the bridge pieces once they are built. (What is being added to the mall bridge is not load-bearing and will not change the bridge's structure.)
