We offer a Bachelor of Science degree in health science with four options to choose from: health education, health services administration, environmental health, and gerontology. We also provide subject matter competency for students wishing to enter the California Teaching Credential Program for a junior high or high school teaching credential in health science. Our students complete an action-oriented and practical course of professional study to prepare for careers working in hospitals, voluntary health agencies, government agencies, private industry, grass-roots organizations, and schools.
Ask yourself:
Are you interested in health topics?
Do you want to protect your environment?
Do you like working with people?
Are you good at planning?
Do you like to take action and get things done?
Are you creative and an “outside of the box” thinker?
Do you want to make a difference in the health of people and communities?
If you answered yes to the questions above, a BS in health science could be the right major for you.
