Jennifer Arbuckle is an undergraduate major in Geography and Planning. She will graduate in May 2005. Her research was completed in Dr. Mark Stemen's Seminar in Applied Geography.
Ethan H. Beckley graduated in December 2003 with a BA in Psychology and is entering the PhD program in Behavioral Neuroscience at Oregon Health & Science University. He is presenting research adapted from his Honors in the Major project completed under the direction of Dr. Penelope Kuhn and Dr. Jonathan Day.
William Berigan expects to graduate with a Masters Degree in Geography and Planning in December 2004. He is presenting research from his Masters Thesis now being completed under the direction of Dr. Dean Fairbanks.
Joshua Birdsill will receive his Bachelors Degree in Economics this semester. He plans to apply to law school in the fall. Joshua is presenting his Honors in the Major project tonight. This project was completed under the direction of Dr. John Eckalbar.
R. Heath Browning graduated with a BA in Anthropology in December of this academic year. He is now working as a heritage resource manager for the United States Forest Service. He is presenting his Honors in the Major research project completed under the direction of Dr. Antoinette Martinez.
Jillian Buckholz plans to graduate in December 2004 with a Masters Degree in Geography and Planning and then enter the labor force. The work she is presenting was completed in Dr. Mark Stemen's Seminar in Applied Geography.
Grace Cobb is an undergraduate Sociology major. She will graduate this semester and then plans to work. She is presenting her Honors in the Major project completed under the direction of Dr. Cynthia Siemsen.
Tatiana Colón is majoring in both Psychology and Criminal Justice. She will receive her Bachelors Degrees this semester and then plans to go on to graduate school. She is presenting the results of a survey she conducted under the guidance of Dr. Rick Ruddell.
Stephen Conner plans to graduate this summer with a Masters Degree in Geography and Planning. He will seek full time employment after his degree is completed. He is presenting research adapted from his Masters Thesis that he is completing under the direction of Dr. Jacquelyn Chase.
Stacy Cook will graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Economics in May 2004. She will spend the summer after graduation working as an intern in Portland for the Pacific Northwest Research Station. Stacy is presenting her Honors in the Major project that she completed under the guidance of Dr. John Eckalbar.
Jasmin Curiel will graduate in December 2004 with a BA in Psychology. She plans to continue her studies in graduate school. She is presenting research completed in an independent study with Dr. Ted Singelis.
Aleesha Fecher graduated in December 2003 with a degree in Psychology. She plans to attend graduate school and earn an advanced degree. She is presenting research completed in an independent study with Dr. Ted Singelis.
Sarah Freeman is majoring in both Child Development and Spanish. She is graduating this semester. She has applied to several graduate programs in School Psychology. She is presenting material from her Honors in the Major research project completed under the direction of Dr. Cindy Ratekin.
Carrie Grossman will graduate in May 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. She plans to work in the community next year and begin graduate school the year after. Carrie is presenting her Honors in the Major project completed under the direction of Dr. Pamela Johansen.
Lorena Jimenez will graduate in December 2004 with a BA in Psychology. She plans to attend graduate school. She is presenting research completed in an independent study with Dr. Ted Singelis.
Adrian Johnson plans to graduate in May 2006 with a BA in Anthropology and then continue his studies in graduate school. The paper he is presenting was completed in a Field Methods in Ethnography course with Dr. Carolyn Heinz and through independent research under Dr. William Loker supported by a Research and Creativity Award from the CSUC Research Foundation.
Natalie Kiunke is graduating this semester with a BA in Psychology. In a year from now, she hopes to attend graduate school. Natalie’s presentation comes from research she completed in an independent study with Dr. Ted Singelis.
Brian Kniffin plans to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology in December 2006. He will then attend graduate school to study further the areas of social psychology and personality. He is presenting research completed in Dr. Ted Singelis' Contemporary Problems in Psychology special topics course.
Ericka Lansdon is a Health Science major in the Department of Health and Community Services. She will graduate this semester and then pursue a Masters Degree in Public Health. She is presenting her Honors in the Major research project completed under the direction of Dr. Lyndall Ellingson.
Tiffany Lee will graduate this semester with a Bachelors Degree in Child Development. This fall, she will begin a doctoral program in Cognitive Studies at the University of Washington in Seattle. She is presenting her Honors in the Major research project completed with Dr. Melissa Groves.
Brooke Love is an undergraduate Social Science major. She will finish her BA this semester and is now looking for employment. She is presenting research she completed in Dr. Mark Stemen's Seminar in Applied Geography.
Ryan McCann will graduate this semester with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She hopes to secure a research position in the social sciences and then attend graduate school to earn a PhD in Social Psychology. She is presenting her Honors in the Major project completed with Dr. Daniel Worthen.
Cynthia McCartney is a Health Education major in the Department of Health and Community Services. She plans to graduate in May 2005. She is presenting her Honors in the Major research project completed under the direction of Dr. Lyndall Ellingson.
Yoshitaka Miyake is a graduate student in the Geography and Planning Department. He will earn his Masters Degree in December 2004 and continue his education. He is presenting research completed in Dr. Mark Stemen's Seminar in Applied Geography
Kristina Nordlin is completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology. After she graduates in May 2005, she plans to attend graduate school and travel a lot. Her original research was completed in an independent study with Dr. Ted Singelis.
Jessica Ordaz is a Child Development major. She will graduate this semester. Her goal is to continue her schooling and earn an Education Specialist Credential in Moderate to Severe Disabilities and receive Early Childhood Special Education certification. She is presenting her Honors in the Major paper completed under the guidance of Dr. Cindy Ratekin.
Celine Pettyjohn plans to graduate with a BA in Sociology in May 2005 and then continue her studies in graduate school. Her research project was completed for Dr. Liahna Gordon's Constructing Sexualities course.
Heidi Pierson will graduate with a Masters Degree in Anthropology in December 2004. She plans to work for several years as an archeologist and then enroll in a PhD program. The research she is presenting was completed in an independent study with Dr. Carolyn Heinz.
Iris Ponsano is an undergraduate Economics major. She will complete her degree this semester and then attend graduate school in Sacramento. She is presenting research completed under Dr. John Eckalbar as part of her Honors in the Major project.
Cindy Richards plans to have her Masters Degree in Social Science completed by August 2004. She is presenting work completed in Dr. Mark Stemen's Seminar in Applied Geography.
Angie Rioux will complete her undergraduate degree in Social Work this semester. After graduation, she plans to work in child welfare for one or two years and then pursue a graduate degree. The paper she is presenting was completed in Social Work Methods classes I and II with Dr. Jean Schuldberg.
Polly Seddon will finish her Masters Degree in Geography and Planning in August 2005. After her graduation, she hopes to find full-time employment. She is presenting research completed in a Planning Studio course taught by Dr. Jacquelyn Chase.
Sean Simonds will graduate this semester with a BA in Psychology. He intends to continue his studies in graduate school. He is presenting research completed in Dr. Ted Singelis' Contemporary Problems in Psychology special topics course.
Julie Symons is a graduate student in the Geography and Planning Department. She plans to graduate in December 2004. She is presenting research from her Masters Thesis that she is working on with guidance from Dr. Dean Fairbanks. She presented this research in April at the California Geographical Society’s Annual Conference in Long Beach where it was awarded the Christopherson Geosystems Award for the outstanding student paper in Physical Geography.
Steve Timme is a graduate student in Geography and Planning. He plans to graduate in August 2005 and then work full-time in his field. He is presenting research completed in a Planning Studio course taught by Dr. Jacquelyn Chase.
Adam Tischler is taking graduate courses in Geography and Planning. He will complete his degree in August 2005 and then work full-time. His presentation is based on research completed in a Planning Studio course taught by Dr. Jacquelyn Chase.
William Travers is a graduate student who is presenting work he completed in Dr. Mark Stemen's Seminar in Applied Geography.
Daniel Tyree will graduate this semester with a Masters in Anthropology. He begins his PhD Studies in Anthropology at Ohio State University n the fall. He is presenting research adapted from his Masters Thesis completed under the direction of Dr. P. Willey and Dr. William Loker.
Kenn Vance is a graduate student in the Political Science Department. He expects to graduate in December 2005 and then intends to enroll in a PhD program. He is presenting a paper completed in Dr. James Jacob's International Relations Seminar.
Brett Walker will complete his Masters Degree in Geography and Planning in August 2005. After he graduates, he hopes to find full-time employment. He is presenting research completed in a Planning Studio course taught by Dr. Jacquelyn Chase.
Niema Winchester will graduate this semester with a BS in Health Science.
In the fall, she will begin a Masters in Public Health Program at San Jose State University. Niema presented a paper at last year's BSS Symposium. Susan Young will be graduating this semester with a BA in Geography and Planning. She is working for the City of Chico and was recently promoted to a GIS Analyst for the Department of Public Works. The research that she is presenting was completed in Dr. Eugenie Rovai’s course on Field Techniques.
