Special Educational Forums
Each spring CADEC puts on a forum on a current drug-related topic such as ecstasy or designer drugs and invites a well-known speaker to address students. This year we hosted a prescription drug forum relating to the abuse of prescription drugs on campus, as well as in the community as a whole, on Wednesday March 3rd. Community leaders from the Butte County District Attorney's office, Chico Police, The Skyway House Recovery Program and CSU Chico came and met to address the prescription drug problems that are effecting Butte County.
