Chico Safe Rides

Chico Safe Rides is a recognized campus organization which provides CSU, Chico students a ride home from downtown drinking establishments. CSU, Chico students who dial 894-TAXI on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 11 pm and 2 am, will be taken directly home within 2 mile. You must have your CSU, Chico I.D. in order to use the service.

Chico Safe Rides is a safe alternative for students who choose not to ride home with someone who has been drinking, as well as those who feel they may have had too much to drink to get home on their own. This program is used as an alternative for arriving home safely - not to another party.
