Labor Day


Let's Keep it Safe & Local this Labor Day weekend, Wildcats! Respect Yourself; Respect Chico; Respect the River if you float. And remember to save the out of town guests for a different weekend. If you do float, remember alcohol is banned on the river and shores and use all safety precautions.

Thursday, Sept. 1

Moonlight Movie II -
The Conjuring 2
Come to the Glenn Hall lawn for a late-night movie showing. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair. Popcorn and candy provided!
Time: 8:30 p.m.
Location: Glenn Hall lawn

Friday, Sept. 2

Cool off at the WREC with floaties, slip 'n slide, and stand up paddle boards. Kayak races and a belly flop contest. DJ, BBQ, and the first 30 people through the doors get a free tank top!
Time: 7-9 p.m.
Location: Wildcat Wrec Center

Saturday, Sept. 3

KCSC's Tacos and Tie Dye
AS Radio Station KCSC is turning 65 years old and you get all the presents! Join us for live bands, a free taco bar, and a chance to make your own wearable tie-dye creation. The first 100 students get a free KCSC logo t-shirt that's tie-dye ready, or bring your own bright-white clothing item to join the fun.
Time: 3-7 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 4

Choose to Cruise
Choosing to ride a bike around Chico is made easy when you get a guided tour to Chico's famous Bidwell Park, a free lunch, and a chance to win bike-themed prizes! All students welcome. No bike, no problem. You can win 'n spin by checking in for a chance to win a lovingly restored bike courtesy of the AS Bike Cart.

Bidwell Bash and BBQ featuring "Greeks in the Grove"
Spend your Sunday afternoon basking in the beauty of Bidwell Park! Bike, take a shuttle, or walk to the Cedar Grove picnic area. Your AS officers provide the BBQ and Chico State Greek organizations will put on the fun and games! Shuttles leave from UV or Whitney Hall, or join Choose to Cruise for the bike ride over!
Time: 12-3 p.m.
Location: Cedar Grove Picnic Area, Bidwell Park

Monday, Sept. 5

Cirque d'UV
A dramatic mix of food, live circus street performers, henna, and a climbing wall! Join us in the UV experience.
Time: 4-7 p.m.
Location: University Village
1325 Nord Ave.
