Business, IT and SAP Career Fair at a glance:
The Business, IT and SAP Career Fair is a bi-annual student-produced event that gives employers and students the chance to meet and share information about career and internship opportunities. The fair typically attracts between 750-900 students. Although the majority of students attending are graduating seniors, students of all class levels are encouraged to attend. This event will give your company the opportunity to:
  • Promote career & internship opportunities to students with a wide assortment of majors and skills
  • Develop relationships and presence with campus organizations and faculty
  • Recruit the very best talent northern California has to offer

Ten steps to a successful career fair experience for employers

Employer fees:
For-Profit/Government Fee: $350
• Includes 6x2 foot table and two chairs (maximum of three representatives per table)
• Free parking for the day
• Resume book of the career fair's host organizations
• Morning coffee, juice, fruit and scones
• Lunch vouchers to be used at the Marketplace Cafe, Urban Roots or Common Grounds in the BMU
• Wireless internet access

Non-Profit/Local Fee: $175
• Includes 6x2 foot table and two chairs (maximum of three representatives per table)
• Free parking for the day
• Resume book of the career fair's host organizations
• Morning coffee, juice, fruit and scones
• Lunch vouchers to be used at the Marketplace Cafe, Urban Roots or Common Grounds in the BMU
• Wireless internet access

Kendall Package: $500
• Includes all benefits of For-Profit Package
• Advertisement of your company on the career fair LinkedIn and Facebook groups
• Recognition as an event sponsor on the student handout of companies attending
• A table-top sign advertising your company as an event sponsor

Bidwell Package: $1,000
• Includes all benefits of the For-Profit and Kendall Packages
• Reserved optimal table location in the auditorium

Payment:
Payment is due upon registration.  Please be sure to include a printout of your invoice if you are sending your payment via check.  Makes checks payable to Chico Business Career Fair and mail to 400 West First Street, Chico, CA  95929-0700.  If you would like to pay by credit card, you may pay by logging into your Handshake account or via the link on your invoice. If you have questions about your payment, please call 530-898-5253.  Payments will be accepted without penalty through the day of the event.

When you should arrive:
• We recommend that you plan to arrive at the free parking area between 8:00 and 9:00 AM.  Please go directly to this lot to catch the shuttle.
• We encourage you to arrive early as table placement is “first come, first choice" (unless you are a Bidwell sponsor, in which case your location is reserved).

A parking permit is not required at this parking lot.  The lot is between the Chico Nut building and Matador Motel at the corner of Esplanade and East 10th Avenues.  We offer free shuttle buses for the 5-7 minute ride to campus. Staff and volunteers will assist you in loading career fair booths and supplies. The shuttles will transport everyone from the parking lot to campus from 8–10 a.m.  Shuttles will return to the parking lot following the career fair from 2–2:45 p.m.  Transportation will end 45 minutes after the fair closes.  If you choose to return to campus for interviews, information nights, etc., we suggest that you drive back to campus and purchase a parking pass (Visa, MasterCard or PassportParking app accepted) or pay for a meter downtown.

What you should bring:
• Handouts about your organization, internship and job announcements, and anything else appropriate
• A sign for your table with your organization's name on it and a cloth to cover the table. The tables will be 6x2 feet with 2 chairs (table-top displays are fine)
• Long extension cords if you need access to an electrical outlet
• Up to three representatives per table
• We will gladly accept payment on the day of the fair. Please call if you have any questions about your payment.

Materials will be stored in the Career Center and delivered to the BMU Auditorium on the day of the fair. If you would like to ship materials back to your office, please bring shipping labels for returns via UPS or FedEx. Prepared boxes will be picked up after the fair and sent the next day.

Cancellation policy:
