On-campus interviews are a great way to connect with talented Chico State candidates and recruit for both internships and full-time professional career positions. The Chico State Career Center facility includes private interview rooms that can be scheduled at various times throughout the year. The Career Center hosts a free job posting database, JobCat, accessible by all Chico State students and alumni. Additionally, each year the Career Center organizes on-campus visits from approximately 700 corporations, government and non-profit organizations, health care institutions, and school districts.
If you are interested in recruiting on campus, you can participate by calling Kendra Kittoe, our recruiting coordinator, at 530-898-5253 or by requesting a schedule online through JobCat (CSO Research). We have a variety of options available to meet the needs of your company and its staffing objectives. If a trip to Chico State is not possible, we offer Skype interviews as an alternative. After our office initiates an account for you, you will be able to use our system to schedule interview dates, review applicants, receive resumes, and update your organization's information. We encourage you to contact us directly if you have any questions or want to brainstorm ideas to promote your opportunities.
It is recommended that a four-to-five week notice be given to ensure all steps of the process are completed. You will then be directed to JobCat to complete the schedule request form on which you will provide a detailed job description and criteria upon which to screen candidates. Your job and interview opportunity will be made available to candidates from the date the schedule is confirmed until the posted deadlines expire.

Employer information sessions are an opportunity to generate interest and spotlight your organization on campus. Traditionally information sessions are held in conjunction with on-campus interviews; however, it is not necessary to conduct an information session in order to have an on-campus interview. If you are interested in scheduling an information session you can request a schedule online through JobCat or by contacting our recruiting coordinator, Kendra Kittoe, at 530-898-5253.
Only CSU, Chico students and alumni who are registered with the Chico State Career Center are allowed to participate in the on-campus interviewing program. Should you meet candidates you want to interview who are not registered with the Career Center, please encourage them to register so that we can get them on your interview schedule.
