As you can see, it does not take much to convince people that CSU, Chico is one of the most well rounded universities, public or private, in the country. For a more complete look at our recent achievements please take a look at President Zingg's 2008 Report. More than awards and rankings, however, the strength of our employer relations depends upon our graduates. What keeps employers returning to Chico State to recruit semester after semester is the success of previous recruits within their organization. Chico State Career Center Director Jamie Starmer comments on this tradition of excellence:

“For more than 15 years I have had the pleasure of working with our graduates and alumni who have been hired by some of the most impressive employers in the state and nation. This is a testament to the strong real-world skills the students are exposed to through an applied, hands-on curriculum which, in turn, develops a highly success-oriented graduate. We hear first-hand how well prepared our graduates are and how much employers value their potential well beyond the entry level position. It is especially gratifying to see our grads come by as senior managers to hire the next generation of shining stars.”
