In this interactive session, Glen Fowler uses real life examples to highlight the skills that effective leaders employ including planning, collaborating, thinking critically, and executing, among others.
Glen Fowler has been the Recruiting and Training Manager with the California State Auditor’s Office for the past 17 years. As the Recruiting Manager, Glen’s responsibilities include developing and implementing a recruiting strategy and hiring new employees. As the Training Manager, Glen’s responsibilities include developing and implementing a Training Plan, and overseeing the office’s Career Mentoring and Peer Mentoring programs.
Currently, Glen is the President for the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Also, he serves on the National State Auditors Association’s (NSAA) Training and Human Resources Committees.
Glen received his Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1986, and his Masters Degree from the California State University, Sacramento, in 1989.
