Drop-In Appointment
The quickest way to get assistance with your job search or career plan is to meet with an advisor during our drop-in period, 1-4 p.m. daily and Wednesdays 1-6 p.m. (when school is in session) in the Career Center, SSC 270. These 10-15 minute, drop-in appointments are perfect for a resume review, a quick question about an interview or salary negotiation, an orientation to the on-campus interviewing program, or help with where to find resources for grad school, etc.

If you need to discuss an in-depth issue that would be too lengthy for a drop-in visit, or you want to strategize a plan for your major selection, career search, or grad school application, please schedule a one-on-one appointment with an advisor by calling 530-898-5253 or stop by the Career Center in SSC 270.
In addition to extensive experience advising college students, our advisors and counselors have worked in various employment-related positions in both public and private sectors and in for-profit and non-profit organizations, including management, human resources, recruiting and sales, giving them a rich, real-life understanding of occupations and the world of work.
