Integrated Library System

Project Description

Chico is implementing a new library system that will fully interface the library with  campus enterprise systems such as the LDAP directory and the Portal, while improving security of patron data. The system will allow the re-deployment of staff, particularly in Technical Services, toward electronic collections.

Chico has signed a contract with Innovative Interfaces. The implementation began in October 2006 with go-live of core modules during summer 2007. Chico will continue to add functionality that integrates the new library system with other campus enterprise systems.
