The Minor in English
The English minor provides a short version of the major requirements, including
a 12-unit core in literary analysis, rhetoric, and surveys of American
and British literature.
Course Requirements for the Minor: 21 units
The following courses, or their approved transfer equivalents, are required
of all candidates for this minor.

ENGL 100 Approaches to Literary Genres 3.0 FS
ENGL 175 Rhetoric and Writing 3.0 FS
Prerequisites: ENGL 001.
