The BA in Art Option in Art Education described above fulfills all requirements for the Single Subject Matter Preparation in art, which followed by a professional education program will lead to a Single Subject California teaching credential.

Your departmental credential advisor is responsible for verifying that the subject matter preparation program has been completed. If you are interested in obtaining a teaching credential, confer with the appropriate credential advisor early in your University career.
