With just a few props, an old courtroom has been built on a stage. There is a wooden chair, which is occupied by a young man in pinstripe pants and a muave velvet coat. A white flower boutonniere sits above his handkerchief. Behind him are seated two more young men, one wearing a white wig and black longcoat, the other wearing a tan coat and white flower boutonniere. Between the seated men is a fourth man, addressing the audience and holding an open book. He too wears a white wig and long black coat.
