Teaching and Research Interests

Dori Wall is joining us from the University of Texas at Austin after completing her PhD. She is delighted to be joining our faculty, and to be returning to the state where she began her career as a bilingual educator. Dori's work, as both a teacher educator and as a researcher, focuses upon building relationships with preservice and in-service teachers to expand student learning. Specifically, her research explores the ways in which teachers’ life histories intersect with the participant structures they implement with linguistically and culturally diverse students.
