Global Voices: Exploring Cultures and Traditions Around the World

 The Global Voices Program is a joint collaboration between the Cross-Cultural Leadership Center and the Study Abroad & International Exchange Office in order to engage CSU, Chico students and the local community in exploring and celebrating cultures and traditions around the world.  These two offices came together to accomplish the following learning objectives through their collaborative efforts:

• Articulate information on traditions and customs from various cultures within the international community.
• Demonstrate the application of traditional customs and art forms from featured geographic regions.
• Recognize, understand and respect the complexity of socio-cultural and international diversity.
• Engage in intercultural dialogue on local, regional, national and global topics of diversity.
• Connect international students and domestic student in order to promote a deeper understanding of diversity.

During the fall semester Global Voices will occur on the following dates:
