Facilities and Resources

The Communication Design department encompasses the areas of Information and Communication Systems, Instructional Technology, Media Arts, Graphic Arts, and Graphic Design. These are technology-intensive fields that require a broad range of facilities and equipment. CDES maintains computer labs, audio editing labs, video editing labs, and prepress printing facilities. The department also provides equipment for student use in video, and audio activity classes.

Computing facilities include Macintosh and Windows workstations, flatbed and slide scanners, digital cameras, non-linear video editing stations, color and black and white laser printing, and a variety of graphic design and rich media development software.
