General Purpose Resources

Many of the forms and documents that are useful for students are also useful for faculty. These materials are available on the Curriculum Forms and Documents page.

The following materials are applicable only for faculty use. Click on the left-hand column to download the applicable resource file. The middle column describes the purpose of the resource and the right-hand column provides brief instructions for using the resource.

Human Resource Calendars Various workload related calendars are available at the HR Center. Of particular benefit is the "Faculty and Staff Calendar." Select and save one of the PDF files to your computer, then open or print as a reference.
PeopleSoft QuickGuide This document provides paths and instructions for commonly used functions in PeopleSoft. Save this PDF file to your computer, then open or print as a reference.
PeopleSoft Links This document contains URLs that will directly access commonly used functions in PeopleSoft. Save this Word file to your computer, but then open the file with your preferred web browser. Save the links in your browser as Favorites (Internet Explorer) or Bookmarks (Netscape). (See Note 1, below).
Peer Review of Teaching This form is used to report on a classroom visitation and teaching assessment. Save this Excel file to your computer. Print the file to fill out the form by hand. The form can also be filled out by computer. The completed form should be submitted to the College office, with a copy to the instructor.
Prerequisite Certification and Request to Enroll Student This form is used by a student's major academic advisor to certify completion of course prerequisites and request manual enrollment of the student. Save this form to your computer and complete with the assistance of the student. Either submit the form by e-mail or submit a signed hardcopy.
Safety Plan This document summarizes the approved protocols for faculty, staff, and students promoting safety during curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular educational activities. Save this PDF file to your computer, then open or print as a reference.
Major Academic Advising This document describes the responsibilities and procedures for academic advisors. Save this PDF file to your computer, then open or print as a reference.
Using PeopleSoft for Major Academic Advising A student's Degree Progress Report is the primary means for monitoring progress towards completion of graduation requirements. Several documents provide valuable information for the major academic advisor.

Note 1: It may be necessary on some computers (particularly Macs) to open the PeopleSoft Links document in Word, then Save as a Web File (i.e., an HTML file) prior to opening the file in your web browser.
