Biology comes alive and sparks the students' interest with visually interesting and interactive web pages designed for multiple learning styles. Students are involved in simulations, interactive quizzes and animations. 

• Students design experiments using online simulations that recreate classic experiments, interpret the results, and continue designing experiments and interpreting the results until they understand what is going on, or discover what additional information they need.

• Students engage in critical thinking by discussing controversial issues such as biotechnology, cloning, and human genotyping using an online bulletin board, by writing papers about their experiments, by taking weekly online quizzes, and by responding to faculty feedback on their progress throughout the course.
