Nutrition and Health Education

The Center for Healthy Communities provides nutrition education services for both individuals and families. Our nutrition experts help people make changes in nutrition, exercise, overall lifestyle, and attitudes that support healthy living. With guidance from our staff, participants set their own goals and are supported through the entire process of making desired life changes. Our staff is willing to work with individuals and families to find an approach that works.

Nutrition and health education services are available in Spanish and Hmong in addition to English.

No doctor referral is necessary. Fees are reasonable, and can be quite low for families participating in income-based programs such as CalFresh, food commodities, free or reduced-price school lunch programs, and Women with Infant Children (WIC). Call for additional information and to schedule an appointment.
